On this page
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on tokentide.app, as required by article 22.2 of the Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE). In short: we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, or that remember choices you make. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't allow third-party cookies on our pages, so we don't need to ask for your consent with a banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and reads on later visits. Browsers also offer similar storage, such as local storage and session storage, which stays in your browser. All the cookies listed here are first-party cookies: they are set by tokentide.app and only sent back to tokentide.app.
Cookies we use
Preferences
These cookies are set only when you choose an option, and remember your choice.
Sign-in and security
These cookies are needed to sign you in and keep your account secure. Session cookies are HttpOnly (scripts can't read them), Secure (sent only over HTTPS) and SameSite=Lax.
Other browser storage
This data stays in your browser and is not sent to us. When you sign out, we clear the session storage and the Playground history.
Analytics without cookies
We measure visits and page performance with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They work without cookies or similar identifiers stored on your device, report only aggregated data and don't track you across websites.
Third-party cookies
Our pages don't set or allow third-party cookies. When you pay by card, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), where Stripe may use its own cookies, for example to prevent fraud, under Stripe's Cookies Policy. Websites we link to have their own policies.
Why there is no cookie banner
Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE doesn't require consent for cookies used only to transmit a communication, or that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested. Our sign-in and security cookies are necessary to provide the account you asked for, and our preference cookies only store choices you make yourself. If we ever add cookies that need consent, we'll ask for it before setting them.
How to control cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local and session storage by deleting the site data for tokentide.app. If you block or delete the sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in or will be signed out; if you delete the preference cookies, your language, theme and ambient settings return to their defaults.
Changes to this notice
We'll update this notice if we change the cookies or storage we use, and the date at the top of the page will show the latest change.
